Alaskan Photography from Scott Kemp, the co-owner of an Alaska Fishing Resort, Saltery Lodge. You can read my Saltery Lodge Photo Blog that describes these pictures and where they were taken. During the course of living in Alaska, I get the chance to take some great Alaska photographs. You can enjoy these photos of fishing, boats, airplanes, and of the lodge itself in Southeast Alaska by purchasing them from this web site for a reasonable amount.

Alaska photography is a passion of mine. I am always carrying a camera around with me, even if its just a point and click. You never know when that perfect photograph will present itself. I mostly shoot with my Canon 5d Mk II with various L glass, and I love it!

Many of my photos are taken at our lodge, or within 10 miles of it. Alaska is truly wonderful place for a photographer.

I would love to have some pictures of the model airplanes hanging in the bedrooms. My Uncle Gene Waters from Oak Ridge, TN built them. One of his favorite things was his trip to Alaska and getting to meet you and go flying

I was admiring some beautiful pictures of Alaska that my dentist in Lubbock, Texas has displayed in his office. His response was that his secret to getting beautiful pictures was to, "Get a good camera and go to beautiful places." I suppose that he's right but it also takes a discerning eye…even in someplace like Alaska where you'd have to work at it to get a "bad" picture. Thank you for sharing your wonderful vision with those of us who may never have the opportunity to see it first-hand.
