This Helicopter landed at the lodge on New Years Day 2009. Someone in the area had been celebrating New Years eve with parachute flares, and the next morning, we had a Jay Hawk at our front window!

Temsco Lifting a Building

I was fortunate enough to ride along and shoot Temsco lifting a building off a mountain top near Ketchikan and replacing it with another. I was also fortunate that this picture made the front page of the local newspaper!

Up close and personal. The beavers are a southeast Alaska work horse. Since alot of southeast Alaska isn't accessible by roads, the float plane is used to ferry people and gear to remote locations.
